happy birthday to me!

well, it's been a while.  damn, i've been pretty irresponsible in updating this blog.  let's see... what's changed since my latest post?  well, i'm 24!  my birthday was last week, and since i've been a bit preoccupied, a couple of my favorite people decided to help throw me a birthday party.  it's tonight and i'm just super super excited.  i seriously can't remember the last time i had a birthday party.  an actual birthday party.  man, i sound like a loser right now, but i am just so excited.  how many times can i say excited in one blog?  haha, how boring it must be to read this.  ah well.  if you are reading this, then you're probably going to be there tonight, so let me get this out of the way-- buy me a birthday drink! :)  hehe, you know, because i don't need gifts... just a little warm and fuzzy feeling from the beer.  ah, i don't need gifts after my family got me the sweetest birthday gift ever -- one of those new ipod touches!  until recently, i had been walking around with one of those prehistoric ipods from like, thousands of years ago.  and now i have this fabulous ipod that has pictures and videos and is just so freakin' fancy.  its given me a great excuse to get some new music, and i've been listening nonstop.  i actually found this new songwriter from nashville-- matthew perryman jones?  anyway, i downloaded a couple of his songs, and may go with the full album soon.  we'll see.

alright, its getting late and i still have a bunch of hair and makeup to do...
