yes yes, i've been slacking on this blog.  i've been doing a bunch of traveling as of late, and will be continuing that this coming wednesday.  ah, california.  gotta love it.  but these days i'm just feeling like there aren't enough hours.  though i may have been slacking with the blog writing, i have not been doing the same with music.  i have a bunch of new songs, and have been working my ass off to find a way to share them all.  things with WatT have been put on hold, but i'll be doing a gig in early December (check the News page for details) on my own.  and by on my own, i mean with a couple of friends.  i am very very very excited about this!  it has only been a couple of months, but i gotta tell you, it feels like a hundred years since i've had a gig. 

ok, completely off topic.  but as i am typing this, i am watching the AMA's.  can i just say, WHO THE FUCK are the jonas brothers?  is this really what our fucking mainstream music has come to?  they were hideous.  i would rather be forced to listen to avril lavigne on loop for 48 hours than hear another song from these teenage douche-bags.  wow, is that harsh?  hmph.

in other news, i have recently discovered ingrid michaelson (yes, i'm behind the times) and can't stop listening to her.  within ten minutes of being on her myspace page, i bought her album and tickets to her next show in nyc.  she rocks.  if you don't know her yet, check her out. 

anywho.  its bedtime for me -- because i've got to get up early.  i hope y'all have as fantastic of a turkey-day as i plan on having... my mom makes a killer stuffing.  hope to see you on 12/7!
