alright, so i'm giddy for many reasons.  first, because i got to date this post in 2008!!!  i always feel so excited at the beginning of the year... like i get to start fresh and really take it in the direction i want it to go.  :)  beyond that, i've been working on this demo, which definitely adds to the giddy.  i'm going in again on friday, so i'm very much looking forward to that.  there have already been some set-backs, a hitch here and there, but overall i am psyched.  i also had great gig last week at the baggot inn, and just had an amazing night.  lee and i had so much fun playing together, and i'm working on getting the recording posted asap. 

beyond that i'm looking forward to a really fantastic year.  and that just makes me giddy.  i've been super inspired lately, and hopefully will have some new material at my next gig in february.  i'm also going to be doing loads of traveling over the next few months -- and i'm really excited to go some of the places i'm going.  i'll be hitting St. Louis next weekend, then VT after that (for some long overdue snow-sporting), then norcal, then socal, then possibly vegas, mammoth and a cruise in june.  don't ask me where i'm getting the funds for all this travel, but somehow it'll work out.  or at least thats what i tell myself.  despite all this amazing jet-setting, i'm really just itching to get out of the country for a while.  we'll see.  maybe i'll just pick up and peace out some day...
